From the Piedmontese "hidden", "guarded", Starmà is a fairly soft and full-bodied red wine made with Neretto gentile grapes 35%, Vespolina 30%, Nebbiolo 15% and other vines 20%

Aged in wood for over a year and a half, it goes well with second courses of meat.

Production area:municipalities of Settimo Rottaro, Azeglio, Colleretto Giacosa.
Terrain: hilly, consisting of clay sand with significant presence of pebbles
Training system:traditional simple Canavese pergola, manual pruning.
Average age of the vines: from 30 to 50 years.
Method of defense : targeted pest control, excluding the use of systemic products.
Vinification: spontaneous fermentation of the desrapped must, maceration with 15-day skins. Subsequently, de-de-transferred to wood, it carried out malolactic fermentation. There is no intervention on temperatures.
Aging and bottling: aging in wood for 21 months until bottling. The wine is not filtered. Further refinement in the bottle until marketing.
Description: ruby color, scent of blackberry and violet with notes of spices. Good complexity, tannin well present in the mouth, long and pleasant finish.

Total sulfur: < 70 ppm (max 150 ppm)
