The salampatata was created in the cold months of the Second World War by Canavese farmers by adding boiled potatoes in the production of cured meats. It is excellent spread on bread or used to enrich omelettes and risottos.

Storage tips: Salampatata should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 30 days of delivery. It is recommended to immediately remove the salampatata from the package, put it in a dish, and then in the refrigerator.
