Harvested between June and July in the Gran Paradiso National Park,rhododendron honey is one of the rarest and most valuable honeys, counted among the slow food presidium honeys.

It is produced in pristine areas,where there are no industrial areas and urban settlements. The water is clear, the air is pure, there are no intensive crops nearby and bees can operate undisturbed without sources of stress. No residues of heavy metals or traces of herbicides are found in this honey.

After bevelling, the honey is left to decant, then filtered and packaged without being subjected to thermal storage treatments.
