Payment management

Buying on Katuma is simple and safe. You can use the payment method you prefer by choosing between Bank Transfer, PayPal and Satispay. With PayPal you can pay with your Credit card and prepaid even without having to register.
Katuma DOES NOT STORE AND DOES NOT MANAGE ANY PAYMENT DATA and, therefore, you have total security on the management of payment data and the protection of your privacy.

This is because:

  1. Payments by bank transfer are made externally to Katuma in the usual way you normally use: at the bank's headquarters, online with home banking tools
  2. Payments with PayPal, whether you are registered or currently using your credit card, take place within the protected and secure system of PayPal without Katuma having any visibility on the transaction.

Do you want to pay with PayPal?

Payment by PayPal is simple and secure. It does not involve any additional cost and at the time of purchase you will be redirected to the PayPal portal. By entering your email and password PayPal the payment will be made in total security. Your order will be processed as soon as PayPal communicates the acceptance of payment.
In any case, the payment procedure takes place according to the methods accepted by PayPal and in compliance with the relative conditions. In case of cancellation of the order, both by the Customer and in the case of non-acceptance of the same by Katuma, at the same time as the cancellation, the amount relating to the canceled goods will be credited back to the Customer's PayPal account.

Do you want to pay by Credit Card?

Payment by credit and debit card does not involve any additional cost and the transaction takes place through the Stripe circuit, a service compliant with level 1 PCI, which is the highest level of security certification.

Do you want to pay with Satispay?

Satispay is an immediate and secure payment method. To pay, simply enter your phone number and open the app to confirm the payment; alternatively you can frame the QRcode and confirm the transaction directly from your smartphone: easy and protected.

Do you want to pay by bank transfer?

Please note that payment by bank transfer does not incur any additional cost. In this case, the order remains suspended and can be processed as soon as Katuma will receive confirmation of the crediting of the payment.

Payment must be made within 7 days from the date on which the order was placed. If within this period the transfer is not made, the order will be automatically canceled.

Payment on delivery

Payment on delivery is possible only in case of home delivery and collection at our warehouse in Ivrea.
We accept payments in cash, debit / credit card and Satispay.

Issuance of tax document

For each order placed on Katuma, Katuma appropriate tax document will be issued pursuant to Article 14 of Presidential Decree 445/2000 and Legislative Decree 52/2004 sending it to the holder of the Order at the same time as the goods. For the issuance of the invoice, the information provided by the Customer will prevail. Katuma therefore reminds the Customer to always verify, with the utmost care, the accuracy of the information provided. No change in the invoice will be possible after the issuance of the same.

Shipment management

Shipping times

Shipping takes place as soon as all the products of your order are available at our warehouse (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded).
When the package is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email in which you will find a link and the "tracking number", with which you can check where your package is and know when it will be delivered to you.

The availability times of the products are generally indicated in the detail of the products themselves and vary from 48 hours to 7 working days.

Orders are shipped on average in 3-5 working days.

Shipping methods

Shipping by courier

Katuma relies on nationally broadcast carriers. The shipping cost in Italy is € 6.90 and is independent of the weight and destination.

If your order contains fresh products (cold cuts, cheeses, fresh pasta, ready meals, alpine trout), the shipping cost in Italy is €8.90 and is independent of the weight and destination.

The calculation of shipping costs takes place only after entering the shipping address on the cart page, at the order confirmation.

Shipping by courier is free only in Italy for orders over € 109.

Home delivery

We consider "home delivery" when the delivery of your order is made directly by Katuma or by a special company delegated by you as an alternative to the traditional Courier.
This type of shipment is only possible for the municipalities indicated below.

The service is free for all orders of at least €35.
For orders with a value of less than €35 the cost of home delivery is €4.

Traditional courier delivery times

Delivery times - starting from the date of shipment - are estimated between 24H and 48H (islands and southern Italy).

Track your shipment

In the case of shipping by courier we will send you the "tracking number" with which you can check where your package is and know when it will be delivered to you.

Choose where and when to receive the package

Of course you can choose where and when to receive the purchased products.
If you want to receive them at the office or at another address (for example, that of a friend or family member), simply enter the shipping information and the name of the delivery contact person at checkout.
If you are not available for the expected delivery date, simply send an email to the address info@katuma.it to indicate an alternative date.

Make a gift

If you want to make a gift to a friend and you want to send the package directly to his home, simply enter his address during the payment process and specify in the appropriate form "Notes and special requests", located at the bottom of the order, that it is a gift. The package will be sent to the shipping address indicated. In this case inside the gift package there will be no information regarding the prices of the products purchased.
