Payment management

Buying on Katuma is simple and safe. You can use your preferred payment method by choosing between Bank Transfer, PayPal and Satispay. With PayPal you can pay with your credit card and prepaid even without having to sign up.
Katuma DOES NOT STORE AND MANAGE ANY PAYMENT DATA and, therefore, you have total security on the management of payment data and the protection of your privacy.

This is because:

  1. Payments by bank transfer take place externally Katuma the usual methods you normally use: at the bank's headquarters, online with home banking tools
  2. Payments with PayPal, whether you are registered or currently using your credit card, take place within PayPal's secure and secure system without Katuma having any visibility into the transaction.

Do you want to pay PayPal?

Payment via PayPal is simple and secure. It does not incur any additional costs and at the time of purchase you will be redirected to the PayPal. By entering your email and password PayPal payment will be made in total safety. Your order will be fulfilled as soon as PayPal will communicate acceptance of the payment.
In any case, the payment procedure takes place in accordance with the procedures accepted by PayPal and in compliance with the relevant conditions. In case of cancellation of the order, both by the Customer and in the event of non-acceptance of the same by Katuma, at the same time as the cancellation, the amount related to the canceled goods will be credited back to the Customer's PayPal account.

Have you PayPal and want to pay by Credit Card?

Payment by credit card (and debit) does not incur any additional costs, and the transaction always takes place by selecting PayPal as the payment method. When you are redirected PayPal instead of entering your email and password you can proceed with the payment by entering your card details. All major credit cards are accepted by PayPal. Your order will be fulfilled as soon as PayPal will communicate acceptance of the payment.

Do you want to pay with Satispay?

Satispay is an immediate and secure payment method. To pay you just enter your phone number and open the app to confirm the payment; alternatively you can frame the QRcode and confirm the transaction directly from your smartphone: easy and secure.

Do you want to pay by Bank Transfer?

Payment by bank transfer does not incur any additional costs. In this case, the order remains suspended and can be processed as soon as Katuma receive confirmation of the payment credit.

Payment must be made within 7 days from the date on which the order was placed. If within this period the transfer is not made, the order will be automatically canceled.

Payment on delivery

Payment on delivery is only possible in case of home delivery and collection at our Ivrea warehouse.
Cash, ATM/credit card and Satispay payments are accepted.

Issuing tax documents

For each order placed on Katuma, it will be issued by Katuma suitable tax document pursuant to art 14 D.P.R. 445/2000 and DL 52/2004 sending it to the person in charge of the Order at the same time as the goods. For the issuance of the invoice will be authentic the information provided by the Customer himself. Katuma therefore reminds the Customer to always check, with the utmost attention, the accuracy of the information provided. No change in the invoice will be possible after the issue of the same.

Shipping management

Shipping times

Shipping takes place as soon as all the products of your order are available at our warehouse (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded).
When the package is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email in which you will find a link and the "tracking number", with which you can check where your package is and know when it will be delivered to you.

The availability times of the products are generally indicated in detail of the products themselves and vary from 48 hours to 7 working days.

Orders are shipped on average in 3-5 business days.

How to ship

Shipping by courier

Katuma relies on nationally distributed carriers. The shipping cost to Italy is €6.90 and is independent of weight and destination.

If your order contains fresh produce (cold cuts, cheeses, fresh pasta, ready meals, alpine trout), the shipping cost to Italy is €8.90 and is independent of weight and destination.

Orders containing fresh produce are shipped at the beginning of the week to avoid too long inventory in case of delays by the courier.

Some products are not shippable by courier:these, in the description of the product, bear the following wording:"PRODUCT NOT SHIPPABLE BY COURIER - Can only be purchased in case of home delivery in Canavese, Biellese and Lower Valley or collection and/or storage of Ivrea".

The calculation of the shipping costs takes place only after having entered the shipping address on the cart page, at the order confirmation.


Courier shipping is free only in Italy for orders over 109€.

Free pick-up at the depot

The goods can be picked up free of charge at the Katuma located at the Levior Sas - Piazza Mascagni, 11 - 10015 Ivrea TO.

Home delivery

We consider "home delivery" when the delivery of your order is carried out directly by Katuma or a special company delegated by her as an alternative to the traditional Courier.
This type of shipment is only possible for the municipalities listed below.

The service is free of charge for municipalities within a radius of 25Km from Ivrea.
For locations outside the 25Km radius, the service costs €4.

Attention: some locations within 25km have the CAP equal to more distant locations:the system will then propose shipping by courier.
We suggest you select "Free pick-up at the depot" and write in the notes "Home delivery is required".

Traditional courier delivery times

Delivery times - starting from the date of shipment - are estimated between 24H and 48H (islands and southern Italy).

Track your shipment

In the case of courier shipping we will send you the "tracking number" with which you can check where your package is and know when it will be delivered to you.

Choose where and when to receive the package

Of course you can choose where and when to receive the purchased products.
If you want to receive them at the office or at another address (for example, that of a friend or family member), simply enter the shipping information and the name of the delivery referent at the time of payment.
If you are not available for the expected delivery date, simply send an email to to indicate an alternative date.

Give a gift

If you want to give a gift to a friend and want to send the package directly to his home, simply enter his address during the payment procedure and specify in the appropriate form "Notes and special requests", located at the bottom of the order, that it is a gift. The package will be sent to the shipping address indicated. In this case, there will be no information on the prices of the products purchased inside the gift box.
