It is in the hills of the green Canavese that for four generations the Mattioda family has taken care of the territory. Cascina La Revella represents the land on which, with passion, we wanted to invest to combine past and future by cultivating the precious Hazelnut of Piedmont PGI through natural methods and with the use of technologies attentive to respect for tradition.
In the last 10 years about 6,000 hazelnut plants of the "Tonda Gentile Trilobata" variety have been planted, which in autumn produce generous their small, sublime fruit. The quality of hazelnut, certifiedI.G.P. Piemonte is among the best in the world for organoleptic characteristics.
Hazelnuts are fruits rich in antioxidants, magnesium, calcium and potassium. Their consumption, it has recently been shown, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
