The Bottega Del Canestrello is a company created by Aldo Mario Ferrando in 1986, aimed at enhancing the typical dessert of Borgofranco d'Ivrea: the sandeel.
The tradition is still maintained today with the manual production of the products, cared for one by one. No dyes and preservatives are used, but only flour, eggs, butter, sugar, Piedmont hazelnuts TGT di Cortemilia (Cn), cocoa of the Company Pernigotti and all genuine ingredients and found on the territory, giving importance to the raw material at zero km.
Currently Bottega has also combined the typical and artisan production with various types of sweets and biscuits, with attention to traditional Piedmontese biscuits, vegan and organic.
