The Bottega del Canestrello is a company created by Aldo Mario Ferrando in 1986, aimed at enhancing the typical dessert of Borgofranco d'Ivrea: the canestrello.
The tradition is still maintained today with the manual production of the products, taken care of one by one. No dyes and preservatives are used, but only flour, eggs, butter, sugar, Piedmontese hazelnuts TGT of Cortemilia (CN), cocoa of the Pernigotti company and all genuine ingredients found in the area, giving importance to the raw material at zero km.
Currently the Bottega has added to the typical and artisan production also various types of sweets and biscuits, with attention to the biscuits of the Piedmontese tradition, vegan and organic.
