Tajabosc is basically an excellent red-amber English Ale with hints of light fruit and a consistent character. The hopping is right and not particularly invasive, the bitterness is perceptible so in appropriate quantities without covering the aroma of roasted malt at high temperature. The taste is aromatic and fresh.
It lends itself to being combined with fish or meat dishes with barbeque, which with its slightly burnt flavor blends with the clean and refreshing taste of beer.
In the ancient sea ports this beer was consumed by sailors returning from a long journey or by the same sailors who soon had to leave for the trade routes, but it is on land that this rich drink found its maximum development. It was in fact the woodcutters who fully enjoyed the flavor of this Ale, which with its right gradation of 5% warmed the souls and bodies of the woodcutters who could cope with long days of work being able to cheer up every now and then with a good glass of beer.
